ATV & UTV TRAILS

Heartwood Resort welcomes UTV riders! We have a variety of accommodation types for your family or group! We have an onsite restaurant and bar, so after your ride, you can relax at Heartwood. We have plenty of parking for your trucks, trailers and UTV’s.

Heartwood is a PREMIER UTV destination. Both Washburn County and Burnett County (Webb Lake, Danbury -close by) offer amazing trails! Just outside our gates, you ride onto the ever-growing Northwest Wisconsin ATV Trail system.

Go west and connect to the Webb Lake, Danbury area trails. You will ride right through the middle of forests! These winding trails are just spectacular and offer you amazing nature sites and you will see many of the animals that live in the woods. The trails are lined with fun taverns to enjoy. You will ride past many lakes, drive alongside numerous creeks and cross over many bridges.

On a sunny day, park your machines and go lay face down on the edge of a bridge overlooking the famous Namekagon river. You will see trout and carp feeding into the current! Ride north and enjoy the bluffs of the Namekagon Barrens Wildlife Area. Ride east and enjoy the fantastic trails near Minong and Hayward.

Absolutely beautiful property, with excellent staff! Our family has been to a Friday Night Fish Fry, Easter Buffet & Mother’s Day Buffet, and every single meal has been exceptionally great! I can not rave enough about the quality and taste of the meals they provide. The staff is wonderful!

We stayed in a cottage for a week in early Sept. It was absolutely amazing! So peaceful. The cottage was well kept and the activities at the resort were perfect. We definately plan on a return trip!

We just got back and had an excellent stay. There are a lot of great activities and the place is very well maintained. Even though there was a wedding one night it never felt crowded. Social distancing was never a problem. I really wish they had the restaurant open For at least carry out. It’s 30 minutes to Spooner to eat. We will be back!

Stayed during the winter at the end of February, would love to see the area during fall or even spring. But with all the snow, access to this resort was done very well. The rooms were very clean. The lodges common areas were also very clean. The bar and restaurant had a good selection of food that was delicious. Mark was very helpful, and was willing to go out of his way to help and make sure my visit was great. Will definitely be a customer again.
