Horseshoes is a game with a lot of nostalgia and a lot of fun too. All you need to do is tools horseshoes across the lawn and get them to land on the stakes. It’s simple but gets exciting and competitive fast! Give the horseshoes a couple of practice tosses, and you’ll be ready to join the game.

At Heartwood Resort, we offer a horseshoe lawn right next to the basketball courts for you and the family to enjoy. This is a game that can easily be played with music, snacks, and chatting. Absolutely beautiful property, with excellent staff! Our family has been to a Friday Night Fish Fry, Easter Buffet & Mother’s Day Buffet, and every single meal has been exceptionally great! I can not rave enough about the quality and taste of the meals they provide. The staff is wonderful!

We stayed in a cottage for a week in early Sept. It was absolutely amazing! So peaceful. The cottage was well kept and the activities at the resort were perfect. We definately plan on a return trip!

We just got back and had an excellent stay. There are a lot of great activities and the place is very well maintained. Even though there was a wedding one night it never felt crowded. Social distancing was never a problem. I really wish they had the restaurant open For at least carry out. It’s 30 minutes to Spooner to eat. We will be back!

Stayed during the winter at the end of February, would love to see the area during fall or even spring. But with all the snow, access to this resort was done very well. The rooms were very clean. The lodges common areas were also very clean. The bar and restaurant had a good selection of food that was delicious. Mark was very helpful, and was willing to go out of his way to help and make sure my visit was great. Will definitely be a customer again.
